Here’s a few things you should know.
General
How many people can this location accommodate?
Max occupancy is 150.
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
Yes, the men’s changing room (Bull Pen) and Women’s (Hen House). Women’s area includes a long counter with mirrors and electrical outlets to aid in getting ready. Men’s room includes comfortable furniture for lounging while waiting for ceremony.
Can we have our rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?
Yes, if they fit within the time constraints.
What's the cancellation policy?
More than 6 months prior to the event is a 50 percent refund of the event deposit. Less than 6 months is non-refundable.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, but a $1 million liability insurance will be required for the event by renters offering alcohol.
Is the site handicap accessible?
The lower level and sheds are. The upstairs barn is not at this time.
Food + Drinks
Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware, and glassware provided, or will I have to rent them myself or get them through my caterer?
Tables and chairs are available for rent here on site. All other products must be rented from an outside vendor.
Can we bring our own wine, beer or champagne? What about hard liquor?
You can bring your own alcohol, but it MUST be served by an OLCC licensed server.
Are there designated areas to serve alcohol?
Yes, there is a built-in bar on the lower level of the main barn and a couple smaller, mobile bars available for use on the property.
Vendors + Staffing
Can I hire my own vendors or is there a preferred vendor list we need to stick to?
We are happy to work with your vendors.
Do you offer on-site coordination/event planning?
We have an event coordinator on-staff but we are happy to work with your wedding planner.
Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?
Yes! Amplified music needs to be within the wedding barn or the shed, Acoustic music can be performed anywhere in the area.
What time can my vendors start setting up on the day of the wedding?
Access to the property is between 7 am and 11 pm.
Logistics
Is there a separate space for cocktail hour?
Yes, we have multiple areas on the property that can be used for gatherings other than the ceremony.
Is there parking on site and if so, is it complimentary? If not, where will my guests park?
There is ample parking onsite.
What overnight accommodations do you provide?
We have no onsite accommodations.
Do you have a trash policy?
We provide a dumpster on site for wedding clean up.
Décor + Rentals
Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?
Yes, you are encouraged to bring in your own decor
Can I move things around or do I have to leave everything as is?
You are allowed to move things around, but they must be returned to their original locations at the end of your event.
Can we use candles/confetti/sparklers/fireworks//lawn games/bounce houses/food trucks/insert your own fun-but- potentially-dangerous liability here?
Fireworks are banned on the property due to the high potential for fire with a wooden barn. Candles must be fully contained within their holders, no tapers allowed due to the risk of tipping and fire.
Are you pet friendly? Restrictions?
We are pet friendly, but we are also a working farm, well behaved (and leashed) animals are allowed with prior consent.
Do you have signage or other aids to direct guests to my event or do I need to provide my own?
We have a sign directing people from Riverwood Rd to the parking area, signage from the highway is not provided.
Do you provide heaters and/or umbrellas for the outdoor spaces?
We do not provide umbrellas at this time. Heaters are available through local rentals.
